It’s that joyous time of the year again as the UPIS Fair was held last February 11-13, 2020, at the UPIS 7-12 Grounds. The fair’s theme, Agimat: Sarili’y Iangat. Pag-ibig Ipalaganap, aimed to promote self-love through various activities. Some of these activities are done yearly such as Manaig, this year’s Field Demonstration and Powerdance Competition, Cluv Yourself, this year’s club wars, Hiraya, this year’s alternative classroom learning experience (ACLE), and Hiwaga, this year’s Battle of the Bands.

As the events happened, we captured moments from iconic events and traditions of the fair.

Aside from these events, there are other activities that took place this year, which were handled by clubs and tracks to generate income or provide entertainment.

AppSciDown is a gaming and food booth handled by the Applied Sciences and Engineering track of Batches 2020 and 2021. Iskoramble is a booth serving choco ice scramble handled by the Business and Entrepreneurship track of Batch 2020. The Social Sciences and Humanities track, however, had a major annual event called MCLive where they invited concessionaires to generate income and invited performers from different batches.

Clubs also prepared their own booths. The Math Club presented Virus Out, Break Out, and the Peer Facilitator's Club prepared a club entitled PEERyahan. The Taekwondo Club, a newly established club this year, prepared a booth called Break A Leg, while the 7-10 Choir had quite a unique club called Cirque de Coffee Grammy. The Kilusang Araling Panlipunan still set up the same booth for the last two years called KAPeryahan. The Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) once again handled their traditional Marriage Booth and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines held their Jail Booth once again. Sweet SOArprise is a sweets and baked goods booth organized by the Sophomore Association, the only year-level organization (YLO) who prepared a booth this year.
