Screaming with no voice

Blurry, dry vision
Lids closed shut to block darkness
Eyes tearless sobbing

A ringless ringing
Sound of an electric fan
Ears tightly held closed

Coagulated
Dry, irritated, swallow
Saliva in throat

Shadows bury body
Mind slips further into dreams
Surprising calmness

Sunrise has arrived
Body aches, pain all over
Awake, the mind is

Moist, the mouth is
Open, the ear is
Clear, the eye is
Raspy, the voice is

Hesitation, eliminated
Doubt, destroyed
Darkness, illuminated
Heart, reforged
