Literary (Submission): Dream
I felt your hand in mine
It was very warm
I looked into your eyes
And I saw your charm
You told me you loved me
And I believed, it seemed
But what I didn’t know,
Was that it was just a dream
I woke up on my bed
Alone and cold
I needed you
Someone to love and hold
I was desperately blank
I cried a stream
Then I lay down,
Hoping to go back to that dream
