The hunter's moon shines bright tonight
With all its might and glory
As autumn begins to wither
And winter takes its place
To embrace us with a cold whisper

The hunter's moon shines bright tonight
With all the twinkling stars
Illuminating the void above,
Guiding awry wanderers
To destinations they love

The hunter's moon shines bright tonight
With voices from the past
As friends of time immemorial
Reminisce of happy memories
And leisure they may never again equal

The hunter's moon shines bright tonight
With romance in the air
As lovers sing each other sweet
Songs and poems that give life
And call for affection so complete

And so, as the hunter's moon shines bright tonight
With all the comfort that it provides
I hope to see the sweet smile on your face
And that laugh which warms beyond any embrace
To free ourselves from all our plights
