UPIS team wins 3rd place in TUKLAS Competition

Seniors Rachel Siringan, Julia Reyes, and Gelleen Esposo, won 3rd place in the Model Planning Contest of TUKLAS, hosted by the UP Circle of Landscape Architecture Students (UPCLAS) last February 22 at the Engineering Theater, Melchor Hall in UP Diliman.

Heralding the theme “TUKLAS: A Look Into Landscape Architecture”, participants were tasked to plan and design a scale model of a school.

Students from various schools in Metro Manila take up the challenge presented by the UP Circle of Landscape Architects last February 22. Inset shows the school’s representatives who placed third in the Model Making Contest: Gelleen Esposo, Julia Reyes, and Rachel Siringan. JANELLA FRANCISCO.

“Masaya kasi ngayon lang nangyari yung event na ‘yun tapos nanalo pa yung UPIS ng 3rd place,” said Gelleen Esposo, when asked about her experience from the said event.
