Even if darkness has taken its toll
And when your spark of hope has died
I will light you a fire anew

I promise to embrace you
Even if your thorns are the reason that I bleed
And when you want me to let go
I will hold on to you even more

I promise to stay
Even if you tell me not to
And when your troubles have conquered your thoughts
I will do everything to vanquish them all
