In celebration of the school’s centennial, this year’s Parangal theme was Isang Siglong Dangal at Husay, Paigtingin ng Iskolar ng Bayan. Atty. Rommel Casis of UPIS Batch 1991, the guest speaker for Parangal 7-10, talked about how one should find ways to be the best version of himself/herself while being honest and true to oneself.
Senior Marianne Sasing, who has been Batch 2018’s recipient of the Model Student award since she was in Grade 7, also talked about how a student should have honor and excellence but should value the former more than the latter. As this year’s Grade 10 Leadership awardee, Sasing is also the recipient of the Gerry Roxas Leadership award.
