english,
In casual conversation and mundane routines,
I couldn't help but feel the dirt clinging to my skin.
I have tried to pry myself away from this mire,
To shed the tainted skin that hang on my bones.
For when once, I showed you
All of my filth, and grunge, and grime,
You then took your leave.
And ever since then it felt
As if I could never be washed clean again.
