Forgive me for I have sinned

I repent all my mistakes

Absolve me for the wrong I’ve done

Forgive my words that turned to spears

That pierced the heart of others

Forgive my actions which I did

For my own selfish reasons

Forgive my cowardice to stop

What is already long overdue

And forgive me

For still saying I love you

When these words have lost their meaning
