A suit without crease
No blemish, no flaw
With a neatly trussed bow
You are prim and perfect

All eyes are on you
But you keep your mask on
Only showing your eerie ways
That make us fall-
In curiosity and in love

But behind the mask,
The suit and the tie
Is a soul learning-
And yearning to love

The world expects that you are wise
From the theories of science
To the ways of math
But they cannot adjure
That you can never stumble
And will never be wrong in love
You cannot be blamed
For inadequately giving
What you weren’t able to have
Since you were 3.

People will only see the stain
From the heart that you have broken
They’ll say you’re rude-
“Where has your nobility gotten?”

But do not remove that suit
Do not listen to the world
Pick yourself up, and dust off
Go, and hurt no more.
