emanon,
When he was born,
he breathed air
that had a stench
of ire and animosity;
He opened his eyes
to a world limited
to the two sides of a coin.
When he was 3,
his mind was set
to liking cars,
to becoming a soldier,
to loving the opposite sex;
he was limited.
When he was 10,
his heart wanted not
what he was told.
Though it was disobedience
he carried on,
followed what he desired.
When he was 13,
he regretted his decision
of going against currents
for he only drowned
in fleer and mockery
from a naive society.
When he was 16,
the waves worsened.
This time he was still,
stood for what he loved,
held tears inside
for they weren't for men.
When he was 18,
he was stronger.
He tried to believe
hoped in humanity;
he continued living
with his head held high.
When he was 21,
out he came from the closet,
beating the ignorance
of this cruel world,
waving the rainbow flag
of pride and love.
