For all the promises that were broken,
For all the tears I have shed,
All the times I was left hanging—
Led through the tight rope
Yet I fell and drowned alone.
For all the words that cut me
Until I grew numb
And for all the love I have given
But never did receive,
I vow—
To marry life
And happiness and
To never love again.
I vow—
To not let myself hurt once more,
And
To be free—
For eternity.
