I find humanity’s history interesting,
The many tales so fascinating,
The endless twists and turns shape the end,
You must ask, what would have happened?

Had the Serbian assassin missed the Archduke in his car,
Would there still have been global war?
Had the Entente lost to the Central Powers,
What would have happened with the shift of global superpowers?

Had the future Führer died in the First Weltkreig,
Would Poland and France still have undergone a blitzkrieg?
Had the Destroyers of Worlds not been used,
Would the Tenno’s army have surrendered or refused?

Had the first People Power failed to topple the Kleptocracy,
Would we have ever regained our democracy?
Had the Cold War gone hot,
Would nuclear deterrence have been for naught?

Seemingly small things had big consequences,
That is why when we act, use all senses.
One push of a button or pull of a trigger,
Can escalate into something bigger.
