Literary: Art in Art

The music begins as you come into view
In a room under a light, focused on you
Brown eyes hidden under long unruly hair
In front of you is a coat hanger as your pair

Scene changes, as you dance in a room red in harmony
The beat of your steps hard unlike the velvet melody
Your eyes start to stare, finger pointing
Vibe’s as if I did something worth accusing

Yet it changes with you now wearing white
Contrast to the black space behind are eight masks alight
Creepy it might seem to others unaware
But I never took my eyes off as if it was a dare

You danced again, in a white room instead
Imagine what it feels to be enough for you to wed
A soft ambiance with a flashy visage
It was all simple, but you were a complex image

The next one appears as if you’re oil on canvas
You make sitting against a corner first-class
A pool of water rippling under your feet
Around you, pretty pansies and pasted papers meet

Then the walls turned concrete grey
Your mouth starts to move as you say,
“Tell me if even this pain isn’t real,
Back then, what was I supposed to feel?”

The last of the lyrics was fading slowly
Suede carpets placed under you softly
But nothing is seen besides your upside down figure
Under that delicate hand a face feels knowing yet pure

The lights go out as it was the conclusion
But again you appeared and that caused confusion
Wearing the same mask where your eyes peer
With a stream of an inky-black tear

After seeing a whole visual of museum-worthy art
I began seeing which one was apart
Everything around you was a masterpiece
But seeing you in everything was hard to miss
