Past

What happened:
Something haunting, yet happy
Feeling tired, yet ecstatic
Somehow calm, yet emphatic
Tension higher, voices louder
Until one side is pronounced victor
Yet within, both sides know
Neither is a winner.

Present

What is happening now:
Something broken, mind cluttered
Not knowing whether to let go or hold on.
Nostalgia mixing with regret
Inept at seeing where you went wrong
Going darker and darker,
Not knowing what you desire.
You're just losing your path,
In your confusion you'll bask.

Future

What will happen:
Something
Is all that's revealed.
A glimmer of light
Is that which you see.
But there is uncertainty for
Everything
Is concealed.
