Do not deny it, we all have had days like that. It is Monday, and tomorrow, first thing in the morning after the flag ceremony, you have a long test in Geometry on proving Pythagoras’s Theorem, and you do not even know what the word “postulate” means. You worry for your future and message that smart friend who always gets a score of 97% and still complains of a “low score”. You ask them to be a dear friend and send you a picture of their notes due to your own lack of notes. Unfortunately, they ignore your message.

After collapsing on the floor while pulling your hair out, you remember that feature article on Ang Aninag Online, written to help students just like you…

Now for the part you came here for. These free websites and video channels are here to help you dig yourself out of the hole of procrastination that you jumped right into.

1) Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org) Website, YouTube Channel

Subjects: (Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, History, Economics, Art History, Computer Science)

Khan Academy offers a wide variety of courses especially on Math subjects. The website is user-friendly and elaborates the different topics you can review on. If you want videos which explain subject matters clearly, then look no further. So, you may have to replay the video from time to time.

If you are analyzing your thesis research instrument and you forgot how to tally a column of data, look up the statistical method you need, and they will present it in a clear and systematic form. It helps that the website is aesthetically pleasing and very user-friendly.

5) Math is Fun (https://www.mathsisfun.com/) Website

This article aims to minimize the impact of procrastinating and not paying attention in class. Remember that these websites are not officially endorsed by the school and are not meant to replace your teachers. You should give the teacher your full attention even if dozing off may seem more important than learning two-tailed t-test. Due to not being official school resources, the contents of these websites and videos are not necessarily the exact lessons discussed in class. It is always better to take down notes and listen to our teacher’s discussions. Nonetheless, we hope these websites prove to be helpful and still come in handy, nonetheless. //by Cyñl Tecson and Gabe Ulanday
