a. ham,
Just Like That
In the dying breath of a decade
We built an eternity
On a striking clock
Was it all for naught?
Treasure troves and alleyways spill with laughter
One, two, four, three
Will we come back to this slice of forever?
Do I want to, had I wanted it ever?

Just Like That
In the dying breath of a decade
We built an eternity
On a striking clock
Was it all for naught?
Treasure troves and alleyways spill with laughter
One, two, four, three
Will we come back to this slice of forever?
Do I want to, had I wanted it ever?
There’s More
The eternity we built
On the striking of a clock:
Was it all for naught?
It was as a fleeting life is
In the eternity of all things;
And those troves and alleys spilling with laughter:
Shall we come back to that slice of forever?
Would you want to, had you wanted it ever?
Perhaps regardless, you and I should,
So it’s not left for naught.
