It’s okay to be afraid
To be lost and left in the dark
Because how will we know what light is
Without a little spark
It’s okay to keep on wishing
Upon an airplane or a star
But don’t forget this one thing:
It’s you who makes the start
You shouldn’t stop with what ifs
Even if you were left with no clue
Follow your heart and trust it
See what it can do
You shouldn’t settle with what could have beens
Because you’ll only feel regrets
If you keep on overthinking
Then you surely won’t forget
Trust yourself to take the leap
To defy the odds of gravity
You may look mad but don’t back down
Be proud of your identity
A sudden touch of courage
Is sometimes what we need
To turn our life around
And let our souls be freed
It’s your life and not theirs
So do what you have to do
