He lives in the Big Apple
A city that he cannot handle
From the skyscrapers down to the streets
He rises up early from the sheets
He received a call from his friend
That his marriage was about to end
He finally agrees to end his woes
And so he comes back and parties with his bros
After the party, he regains himself
His valuables were last seen on the shelf
But now, all of his things are gone
And he thought that he was already done
He opens the television
As he cleans it in one motion
His favorite team lost to its rival
And he’s sad because they didn’t made it to the final
In the end, he knew he had another life
He didn’t want to think about his things or his wife
Despite everything that happened there
As long as he’s happy and rich, he doesn’t care
