Students from Batch 2020 competed in CA EMA’s Speech Choir Competition at the UPIS Gym last October 25.
This competition is a yearly activity and said batch performed Dr. Seuss’ “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” where each of the two groups per section performed their own interpretation of the piece.
Ipil took the crown with their performance on how adults stand as guide for teenagers. Meanwhile, Narra’s Group Two placed 2nd with a concept on soldiers and Narra’s Group One placed 3rd for showcasing the life of a singer who is finally rising to fame.
“Super shocked po kami sa results kasi kami pinakatamad na grupo sa pag-practice tapos I think kami rin po pinakamababa sa pre-performance,” quoted Erika Sasazawa, one of the members of Ipil, on their unexpected win. //by Nico Javier
