Are the reason I'm fighting this fight
My driving force to see the light
At the end of this
tunnel, cave or road;
Whatever you may call this life

Are the reason why I get up in the morning
Why I choose to live despite these feelings
Of regret, sorrow, and remorse
For me just being—

Accepted all my mistakes;
Mistakes this society forced me to unmake—
Which, I’m sorry,
I can’t undo,

I can’t forsake

Healed me with your love,
And I thank the Heavens above
For sending me a
