The University of the Philippines Integrated School (UPIS) Junior Maroons capped off their Philippine Chinese Amateur Basketball League (PCABL) journey with a 1-5 win-loss record.
The Junior Maroons bounced back from a four-game losing streak with an 88-86 win against the UE Junior Warriors. Veteran guard Jaggie Gregorio led the team with 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. Rafael Labao also chipped in 17 points and 4 assists to help Gregorio.
The team however lost their last two games versus the FEU Baby Tamaraws, 69-80, and against the NU Bullpups, 67-89.
Despite the subpar record in the pre-season tournament, the Junior Maroons looks positively on the results of their competition.
