Dear PHILIPPINES:
Good day!
Are you in need of a place providing everything you need and want? Have you ever wanted to immigrate and start a new life somewhere else?
If so, then we happily invite you to participate in the American Dream. It is a program in line with the national motto of the United States of America, “Make America the Greatest”. It aims to help you understand the perfectly crafted heritage of the country. Aside from promoting cultural awareness, it informs them about the country’s rich resources, well-developed cities, and ideal lifestyle.
Membership for the American Dream is free. Anyone, regardless of socio-economic status, race, or religion, can apply. If you are interested, you may contact us at united@america.com.
Uncle Sam wishes to know you better. We hope that you will join the American Dream and make the country the greatest place. Thank you!
Yours truly,
AMERICA

Dear AMERICA:
Good day.
We appreciate the time you have given to make the invitation. Unfortunately, none of our dear Filipinos are interested to participate in the American Dream. Attached is a transcript of their testimonials during our independence ceremony earlier. We are sorry for your loss.
However, may we suggest that you reconsider your program and motto. In that way, we think that more people will have the initiative to join.
We hope that you do not give up aspiring for greatness. Thank you.
Sincerely,
PHILIPPINES

1. Do not forget that we have offered some of our resources to you. In fact, we have plenty of natural resources ranging from metals to crops. The copper, timber, and other metals you use in constructing your buildings were extracted from our rich mines. The fruits you consume were harvested from our prosperous coconut and banana plantations. The abundance of our riches thus makes our country an ideal cornucopia as we have the potential to advance economically if we, their rightful owners, use them.
2. Our towns might not be well-developed compared to your cities with tall skyscrapers, long bridges, and numerous buildings, but we have our own marvels bestowed by nature. We have mountains that can reach heaven. We have rivers and lakes infused with enchantment and purity. For us, these land and water forms are our paradise as we enjoy quite a space absent in your narrow infrastructure. Not to mention, we have Mt. Pulag and Sohoton compared to your Empire State Building and Golden Gate Bridge.
3. In connection to our attestation earlier, we respect that you see greatness as living in the city. However, most of us believe otherwise. In fact, we are content with living in the provinces. Even if we may look "poorer", we can reassure you that we are able to sustain what we need. We also enjoy the peace and quiet not present in the hustles and bustles of downtown. Almost everything – the food, the water, the air, is pure unlike the pollution there.
