You can't do it anymore
Brittle bones, withered muscles
Make up your better
"Step down"

You bleed
Scrapes on your knees
Refuse to heal
"Stay down"

"Look up"
Stairway through the clouds
You're at the base
Because you slipped

"Stand up"
We'll smile and watch you
As you scurry to the top
Only to fall again

Watch. Me.

A foot placed on the first step
Retracted. I calm myself,
To ready myself for the climb, I
"Step down"

This isn't a setback,
Just a quick rest. I've climbed before,
I'll do it again. I will never
"Stay down"

"Look up"
The sky mocks me
The clouds hide my goal
I will

"Stand up"
And move onward.
I silence my voice,
Only actions will be heard
