Today, let me tell you a tale
About eleven young boys bound to fail
All that is in them is lost and gone
Until an ultimate decision was done

News spread out about a job offering
A group of young men to be sent journeying
For a year or so, they must meet the demands
To satisfy and get recognition from all the lands

Hundreds applied for a spot in the team
For that chance to prove worth, their dream
But only the eleven boys who were bound to fail
Had their share of people watching in grand detail

If one had not been humored he would’ve stayed unknown
He could’ve been lurking on the sidelines, confused and alone
If one had not been charming he would’ve been zero
All his owned clothing tucked back in his bureau

If one had not been loud he would’ve been cut
His dream’s and aspiration’s chance are shut
If one had not strummed he would’ve broke down
People will continuously think he’s nothing but a clown

If one had not swayed he would’ve been broken
The pride of his, is slowly being stolen
If one had not smiled he would’ve been frowning
Had his shyness overcome anything he is fearing

If one had not understood he’d feel disappointment
He’d never feel the difference of people’s treatment
If one had not loved he would’ve felt betrayed
Having to keep up with hundred boys arrayed

If one had not been witty he would’ve felt dumb
He would have no choice but to give in and succumb
If one had not inhaled and exhaled he would’ve been plain
Confidence too small like a white shirt with a stain

If one had not been sent he would’ve been left
Nothing would stay even the soul’s heft
If all of them had not tried, it could’ve been an epiphany
Of seeing different boys deemed weird on the journey

Today, you let me tell you a tale
About eleven young boys bound to fail
All that is in them is lost and gone
Until an ultimate decision was done

With small things together make impact
Scattered concepts turned compact
Imagine what would happen to their life’s trail
If those eleven young boys inevitably fail
