english,
One must always remember,
That death can never truly die.
For as long as life exists,
Under six feet of earth, one will soon lie.
A tiny mouse barely noticeable,
Tries to sneak past death’s gaze.
But alas poor mouse,
There will be an end to its days.
A great tyrannical beast
May stand tall above all.
But through the passage of time
It too shall fall.
Even the clever hairless monkey
With its gadgets and weaponry,
Cannot run from death
And will end up in an obituary.
Then would life be worth living
If at the end there is only death?
“Definitely not!” you might say.
“I’d rather just take a rest.”
And to that I would respond
“Do not succumb to the dread of dying.
For it is the ephemeralness of our time
That makes life worth something”
To accept death does not mean to disown life
It does not mean to say goodbye
Treasure what fleeting moments you have
Because in the end you have to die
