The judges pronounced the UPIS team composed of Red Bartolome, Mikee Neri, and Joanna Pagulayan as the overall winner and Bartolome as the best speaker.
The topic of the debate was “Social Networking: Boon or Bane” which was given last July for the teams to research on UPIS was given the affirmative stand.
The debate consisted of two rounds. The first in which both sides gave two constructive speeches and two rebuttals. The second round was a question and answer portion. UPIS won against Philippine Science Highschool in the 7th biennal convention hosted by the Society of Adolescent Medicine of the Philippines, Inc.
