Grade 6 student Phil Bryan Cosep won first place in the take-home “Organic Battery” experiment while the his batchmates Patience Ventura, Craig Alexander Aquino, and Zeidrich Monares won third place in the interactive workshop of the elementary division.

UPIS Grade 6 students win in MathSciAka 2012
Several UPIS elementary and high school students participated in the MathSciAka 2012 held at the PHILVOLCS auditorium in UP Diliman last September 22, 2012.The event was divided into several categories including a series of take-home experiments, an extemporaneous speech contest for high school students, a slogan-making contest for elementary students, and an interactive workshop.
