Just as when
A flower starts to bloom,
In beginnings we see
A hope to end our doom.
Just as when
We start to fall,
In beginnings we see
The destruction of our wall.
Beginnings show
How foolish and gullible we are.
Pursue this beginning
And with both feet, test a river.
But beginnings are proof
Of courage and boldness
For we begin
Without knowing where this ends.
