The UPIS Volleyball Boys won in straight sets 25-18, 25-16, while the girls won in 3 sets 25-18, 19-25 and 25-14.
Richard Luague who took the place of Derick Urgena as Middle blocker/Setter led the boys’ team and scored 7 attacks and 2 blocks with the help of Julian Taloma’s 4 attacks and 2 service aces.
Meanwhile, the Girls had an excellent first set but did not communicate very well during the second. Caila Cadiz, who scored 10 attacks, 3 blocks and 3 service aces, and Angelica Jota, who contributed 5 attacks and 5 service aces, led the team in a solid third set.
The Boys lost their last game against Academy of God’s Children (AGC) in straight sets on November 30. The Girls will play their last game against La Consolacion this Saturday, December 6. / by Patricia Enriquez

The UPIS Volleyball Boys and Girls teams won against their Antipolo Lady of Lourdes School (ALLS) counterparts last Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the elimination round of the FEU Diliman Peace Cup.The UPIS Volleyball Boys won in straight sets 25-18, 25-16, while the girls won in 3 sets 25-18, 19-25 and 25-14.
