TnF claims third place

The UPIS Track and Field (TnF) Team failed to get their fifth straight championship but still finished third in
this year's UAAP wars held from December 5 to 8, 2013 at De La Salle University in Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Jaime Mejia was again crowned as this season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) after getting 6 gold medals and 1 silver medal. He also beat 3 of his past finishing records—400 meter dash in 44.46 seconds, 400 meter low hurdles in 54.78 seconds and 200 meter dash in 22.60 seconds.

Jethro Esposo, Earl Mandapat and Jasper Navoa earned a total of 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals in individual events while senior Lorenz Bachini, junior Rafael de Peralta, sophomore Charles Epino and Mejia won gold in the 4x400 meter relay.
