Revolutions
When the sunlight falls on his face,
His orbit tells me of four stories
With each turn he makes,
He anchors me with his gravity.

Solstice
Sometimes he would
Shed his fears away
Tell me of his doubts and worries—
About how when he falls,
He falls hard
And when at times he feels fear,
He'll let the wind take him
Wherever it may,
Wherever it thinks he should be.

Aphelion
And then he sat on the same bench
As he pressed himself against the cold
Under the dazzling flakes he recalled
When he dwelled in the darkness of time
Which turned out to be
Winter, the time he felt he lived.

Perihilion
And when he finally deals
With his shame and his fears,
I see him talking of the universe
And of the galaxies.
With such hope in his eyes,
He talks of a world in full bloom,
A bloom such as he—
When he smiles and tells
Of these budding stories.

Equinox
There at the shore he rests
With his heart blazing so calmly
Ready to set forth on his journey
To this place called home
Where he will finally be free.

Seasons
In the end, he tells me:
"Seasons start, seasons end.
Seasons change, seasons fade.
Though time may bend and fold
Something deep would and should remain.
It's that everlasting love in you,
That'll lift you through the sun and rain."
