Dear Future Me,

Three years from now, it will be your turn. It will be you opening that test booklet and sitting in a room full of other students. Pressure will be in the air and all of you will feel it. But I hope that you’re not going to be like them.

I know you. Don’t think about the others. Don’t think whether you’re going to pass or not. Stop it the moment you do. Breathe in, breathe out. Calm your nerves. Only think of the exam itself. Make sure you’ve said your prayers to the Divine Being you believe in.

I trust you. I know full well of your strengths and weaknesses. And I know you can pass that test. But if you don’t, know that I won’t hate you. I’ll understand. Please don’t be hard on yourself.

I love and support you. And know that your family does, too. UPCAT isn’t everything. It’s just a small part of your life. Don’t dwell on it too much.

Lots of Love,
Me
