From all the moments we had,
I could choose to pause on our happy moments.
Pause during our first hug.
Pause every time our fingers intertwine.
Pause at the moment when I said “yes”.
Pause in our moment of truth.
Pause in our moment.

But I will not.

I would rather play the moment you left me
The moment you made me cry
The moment you hurt me
The moment you broke my heart

I would rather watch those moments
Again and again and again

Until this heart becomes numb
And stops beating for you.

Until all things that would make me stay,
Will make me go away.
