Or of calm and subtle bliss

Late beginning with good mornings,
And even later ending with good nights
Here’s to all the times we’ve spent together,
Here’s to all the moments we’ve shared,
Breathtaking— exhilarating—
Yet still of ease and comfort
Here’s to all the times we’ve spent together,
Here’s to all the memories we’ve made,
Memories I wish were etched on stone,
Memories that were but writ on clouds
And here’s to the lifetime we’ll spend together,
A mere moment in the eyes of eternity,
Yet eternity itself in our eyes
